Dr. Christy Barndt is orginally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She graduated cum laude from Shippensburg University in 1997, and recieved her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. From there she relocated to Washington, North Carolina where she had been an associate veterinarian in a small animal practice. She enjoys treating cats and dogs, but also has an interest in exotic pet medicine and surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, volleyball, and spending time with her own pets.

Dr. Derrick Pinney was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in both Ohio and Georgia. His desire to become a veterinarian has been with him since the age of 5. In May of 2006, he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Auburn University. Dr. Pinney, his wife Kris, and their two children Gabe and Taylor relocated to Greenville after graduation to begin his veterinary career. He enjoys treating dogs, cats, reptiles and pocket pets. Dr. Pinney practices from the heart and treats every patient as if they were part of his own family.
